Notes - Matthew Keith Hallam- AKA Keith was born in Geelong to Henry and Hannah Hallam on the 12th of December 1917.
He married Olice Joan Ferris on the 6th May 1944 at St John's Presbyterian Church Warrnambool.
Keith and Joan ran a tyre business in Stawell for a number of years . Keith was a justice of the Peace, Deputy Coroner and was awarded the MBE for services to Stawell. He was also a member of Stawell City Council for nearly 37 years and held the position of Mayor three times. Keith was still in Council at the time of his death at Stawell on the 1st June 1985. Keith is buried at Stawell.
